Appeasement and Entitlement...
I am sick and tired, to the point of exhaustion, of hearing those on the left who continually spout that we need to have a President and a United States that is less antagonistic towards the world, Islamofacists in particular, and we should be more understanding of them and their 'plight', and become a more 'tolerant' Nation.
Why should the United States become a 'wussified' nation so that third world rogue nations, and their 'tinpot' leaders love us? Simple question.
The plain answer is they will not.
I have a simple retort to you if you say they will if the Obamessiah gets elected: "FUCK YOU!"
Also, I am tired of you FUCKING IDIOTS telling me I need to pay more taxes, for the common good, because the Obamessiah says I should. Why in the hell should I have to pay for some societal parasite like this:
Leftist libtards...you tell ME why I should, and why I should have any sympathy for this woman, who is teaching her child to feed at the public trough, versus being self-reliant? Why is it MY responsibility to care for this child, when it is obvious that her mother can? And spare me ANY affirmative action/oppressed person/minority deserving style retort, for those will be met with an immediate conservative smack down.

next Tuesday. It is imperative that we conservatives turn out, and make our voices heard through our votes. I would ask my fellow conservatives that still hold reservations about pulling the lever for Sen. John McCain because he isn't conservative enough for our liking...that may be true, but what has the 'Rogue's Gallery' pictured above ever done for conservatives? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
In the final days before this election, we can see what will happen to this nation if Obambi get's elected...just ask 'Joe the Plumber', just to name a few that have 'dared' to defy the Obamessiah.

I for the most part respect anyone who served in the United States Armed Forces. As a veteran, we hold a common bond of Brotherhood, no matter what branch we served in.
What I cannot abide by is a veteran who will inflate their service, such as this individual. That shit maddens me beyond the pale.
As veterans, most of us rarely display our awards, medals, or ribbons in public. Most of the time, we tend to keep them tucked away. In addition, we know instinctively that the more 'fruit salad' an individual has on display, the greater that chance they are bullshitting, plain and simple.
I ask this question all the time of the "fruit salad brigade"..."why bullshit your service, when it can easily be verified whether you are a liar or not?"

Poised to beat John Murtha...
According to some polls, William "Bill" Russell is ahead of John "Haditha" Murtha for that congressional district in PA.
I have sent contributions to Lt. Col. Russell, because I believe in his message, and for his ability to take on John "redneck" Murtha.
In my view, Lt. Col. Russell is a patriot we can believe in, so if you can spare some change, send some his way so us conservatives can kick John "racist" Murtha out, once and for all.

Tony Blankley over at the Washington Times has an excellent opinion piece of Country Club Conservatism.
I have always despised "Blue Blood Republicans/Country Club Conservatives", and with good reason. As Mr. Blankley points out in his opinion piece, these self proclaimed elites of conservatism are for the most part, neither. To me, they have always displayed an attitude towards us grassroot conservatives that borders on contempt, or at the very least, patronizing. Just like the liberal elites on the left and in the media, they seem to have an innate ability to pontificate their ideas of what conservatism should be to us folks here in "Flyover Country."
The problem with their thinking is that true conservatism is not an issue of taking the lefts' programs and retool them to fit their vision on how a program should be run, but rather, looking at the lefts' programs, and surgically dissecting them. The left has a propensity towards self perpetuating governmental programs, then expanding them in duplicate and triplicate, even if these programs are contained within various agencies. True conservatives look at this over reaching and expanding government, and think how can we cut these duplicate programs in order to save the American people the additional tax burden. True conservatism believes that most programs administered by the federal government can be best administered by state and local governments.
The "inside the beltway" and "upper west side" elites sit in their Ivory Tower, and attempt to pass on their conservative diktat, without ever having an honest discourse with a conservative like me. You see, I do not buy into your mantra of going along to get along, I do not believe in bipartisanship if it means I must compromise my core beliefs to placate those on the left, for that is NOT bipartisanship, but defeat. I will stick to my God, my Bible, my Gun, and my principles until the day I die...simple as that.
You sit there in your gilded cage, and wonder why us common conservatives do not fall at your alter of supposed intellectual superiority...well, the simple truth is because we see through your lofty phrases, both written and spoken, which display a palpable disdain because we do not agree with you.
You view Gov. Palin with contempt, because she does not fit in your well established view of what a conservative should be. You view Gov. Palin as a intellectual lightweight, and have stated as much. Well, let me tell you something...Gov. Palin has energized the base to a degree that I haven't seen since Ronald Reagan. Gov. Palin does not speak down to us common conservatives for one simple reason...she really is one of us.
Sarah Palin speaks to us in simple terms, not because we are dullards or dolts, but because we don't need "Fifty Cent" words coming from a politician to express their ideas and goals. We don't need "Politically Correct" phrases from her, because that would be the ultimate insult...save that for the left. We want to hear what they are going to do, down to the brass tacks.
So forgive me, my elite conservatives, when I don't buy into what you say or write, for I have neither the inclination nor the patience to buy your bill of goods labeled as conservatism.

So, that being said...I really want to make my blog look better, but unfortunately, I am a neophyte at this innertubes thingy.
I need a tech person who can make GerbilDroppings more user friendly, add RSS feeds, make the links look better, etc.
I want to have a more professional look to GerbilDroppings, rather then it looking like so amateur.

yard sign. Much like Ed Morrissey , I too have had a yard sign that came up missing...his during the night time, mine after a brief business trip.
What irks me the most is that the little thugs who did this violated my right (not that they care) to express myself during this election cycle. Living in a neighborhood that has more Obama/Biden signs than McCain/Palin signs does not give you the right to steal my property, for in actuality, it is my property, and to trespass on my property in order to do this act of theft is considered unlawful.
Although I do not support Obama/Biden, I would not go onto someone else' property and take their sign.
All your childish behavior did was to reinforce my opinion of you, which wasn't highly favorable in the first place.
