Anger, Sadness, And Rage; A Mixture Of Emotions

The body of a 19 year old woman was found Friday in a field on the south side of Reno, NV has been identified. Sadly, it is the body of Brianna Denison, the young college student who was abducted from a friend's home nearly a month ago. Autopsy reports revealed that she died of strangulation, and police highly suspect that she was the victim of a serial rapist.
It is difficult, as the Father of a young woman, and the Uncle of young nieces, to express my anger and rage at these sub-humans that would do something like this. Although I did not know Brianna personally, she did NOTHING to deserve this, NOTHING at all.
I am so sick and tired of this. It seems like each week, we hear on the news that another young woman or girl is found to be either missing or abducted, and sadly it seems, the news is never good for these women/girls, and their families, and my heart just breaks. It is sad, disgusting, and abhorrent, and beyond my comprehension as a human being. I just will never understand the reasons or rationale of taking a young women or girl's life for some perverted power trip.
My only hope is that the authorities find the perpetrator(s) of this dastardly and inhuman act, and that the full force of the law comes down upon them, and that they feel the full force and wrath of said laws.
Brianna, May Peace in Heaven be upon as you sit next to the Lord,
For although sadly, you are not here in body, your spirit and soul lives on with those that knew you personally, and those like I, who did not, but still cared.

GG, this young lady is close to the same age as my younger sister who was murdered 4 months before her 19th birthday. I can never hear Dust In The Wind without thinking of my sister. Even after so many years.
The poor family can now begin the grieving process, but it never seems to be over until the final chapter closes with the apprehension of the monster who did this to such a beautiful young woman.
I hope and pray that the family is able to find closure and that the law apprehends and punishes the perpetrator to the fullest extent of the law!

I yearn for the days when a community would discover a freak like this in their midst, slit his throat and hang him by his testicles on tree alongside the road leading to town with a sign around his neck explaining his crime.
