Nothing is more tedious, or boring, then a political pundit pontificating on the dumbest thing imaginable.
George Will, noted Op-Ed writer, takes Americans to task for wearing jeans, an American original. Mr. Will feels that as adults, we should dress more like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, to differentiate ourselves from the youth and our progeny.
Now, I can agree that a 30-40 something man or woman should not dress like high school students or 20 somethings in college, that is just silliness, or the wearing of jeans at a social event where common sense dictates that people should wear their 'Sunday Best.' Adults wearing denim, Mr. Will, is not some indication of the fall of civilization in the United States, but rather is the need to relax, both in clothing and attitude, especially on the weekends. I guess next time I am out in the yard, doing yard work, I'll wear a suit and tie.
From reading Mr. Will's column, it is readily apparent that he needs to get outside of the beltway, and lose this obnoxious elitist attitude, as so many inside the beltway are wont to have.
