Miss Carrie Prejean.

I care not if she has a 'sex tape' out there, which by the way, was apparently done when she was a minor. If it was done when she was a minor as is alleged, and is sexually provocative (masturbation) in a manner as has been suggested, then those who attempt to peddle the tape should be viewed as promoting child pornography, simple as that. What I care about is what she does in the here and now, not something she did in the past when she was a minor.

But see, that is irrelevant to the left because Carrie is a *gasp* Christian, and thus a perfect target for their wrath. Matters not that she was a young girl who possibly did something stupid (as most teenage girls and boys do) at the time, but that because she dared to challenge the scared cow of the left, gay marriage, she warrants to be vilified at each and every turn.

And that, my dear readers, is why I have such a problem with the left. They are unmitigated bigots when they perceive a weakness with someone. Exhibit Britney Spears. When she was the darling of the paparazzi and the celebrity bloggers, she could do no wrong...she was sexy...she was strong...she was a great entertainer, that is until she spiraled down into the abyss, and then they collectively piled on her like a pack of rabid dogs, tearing her limb from limb because she did not fit their ideal anymore of that 15 year girl singing her first hit. Just a perusing of YouTube will show the amount of 'parodies' about her.

Another example is Christina Aguilera. The left and celeb bloggers love to make fun of her also. At various times, they accuse her of looking like a tranny, made fun of her breasts when she was pregnant, because...shock of all shocks...you could see the veins in her boobs...my God...stop the presses...a pregnant woman has visible veins in her boobs!!! Yep, a lot of tolerant there, huh lefties.

Or one of my favorite performers, Pink. While I may not agree with some of her political statements in some of her songs, I enjoy her music all the same. But yet, there are those on the lefty/celeb blogs that mock her body as being more masculine than feminine, and question whether she is actually a woman. Staying classy, lefties.

I could go on and on, but to what purpose?

The left claims to be more tolerant than the right, but I would vehemently disagree with that assessment. I see the left as intolerant, misogynist, and far less forgiving then those of us on the right. From my experience, those of us on the right are far more forgiving, knowing that human frailties and personal foibles are part and partial to being a human being, and as such are worthy of our forgiveness, provided of course that they do not transgress that which is acceptable within normal society, such as the case against Roman Polanski (who the left adores), or those gurus of the left, Ira Einhorn, Jerry Rubin, and Abbie Hoffman, one a murderer, the other an unrepentant leftist, the other fun loving, non-violent leftist.

And we are the intolerant ones...
