Another American Icon...

has folded up their tent.

Although I was not a big fan of 'Budweiser' beer, I do agree that this is an end, in one of many, of iconic American businesses being bought out by foreign interests.

As a capitalist, I understand the rationale, but sometimes, it would be nice to see an American company stay American.

Goth,
I understand what you're saying. The price was for $70 and even amid all the market turmoil it closed today 11-14-08 at $68.50.

The banks ought to be doing as well.

The brand name will still be there and the Klidesdales too. Its just that after 150 years and a lot of family generations things are hard to change. OH--there's that word--Seems to have worked for The Barry.

LLoyd,

Ya know, I am beginning to hate that word 'change.'
