Well...well...well...

Poor David Brooks now laments the fact that Obama was not what he seemed. Color me unsympathetic to Mr. Brooks and his plight.

Mr. Brooks, your epiphany about Obama is something, us grassroots conservatives, have been discussing about, writing about, talking about, emailing about for the past 24 months. Did you not pay attention to anything conservatives were talking about? Did you not watch any of Obama's speeches, interviews, or debates? It was quite obvious to conservatives what Obama was (and is).

We, Mr. Brooks, were signaling the alarms about Obama while the MSM where in the tank for Obama, or at the very least, asleep at the wheel. We agonized over the fact that MSM would not ask any hard, penetrating questions of Candidate Obama, day in and day out. Rather than treating Obama like the candidate he was, your profession decided to treat him like some kind of ethereal being.

Because of the malfeasance of the media, we now have a President, with a Democrat controlled House, expanding government at a rate that makes FDR's New Deal seem positively minuscule in comparison.

Thanks for making me laugh!

Now if someone would just smash David Brooks' keyboard so we never have to hear from him again, my day would be complete.

Brooks is sort of a clueless moron, isn't he? The first rule of politics is that All Politicians Lie. It is just in their nature. Expecting a politician to stop lying is like expecting a dog to quit peeing on trees.
