Well, Here We Go Again...

From bloggers who are denigrating the 'Tea Party' efforts as amateurish and thus should be poo-pooed or dismissed entirely, to the usual inside the beltway pundits that are bemoaning the speech Rush gave at CPAC (to include RNC Chair, Michael Steele), once again conservatives are demonstrating the profound ability to eat their own.

As a conservative, I understand that first and foremost, we tend to think individually, unlike those on the left who have the groupthink down pat, but as a conservative, I also believe that there is a time and a place wherein when we need to put aside minor differences and petty grievances, and circle the wagons. And that time is now!

With Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Durbin, Waxman, Waters, Schumer, et al, running the show, we have experienced the most massive growth of government since, well, since our Country was created, and Obama has only been in office less than 60 days...and if you think he is finished with this unprecedented expansion, you ain't seen nothing yet.

While I do not agree with Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, Tammy Bruce, or Michelle Malkin, 100 percent of the time, I vehemently disagree with the premise expressed by the 'conservative elites' that these folks do not speak for the average grassroots conservative like myself.

As a matter of fact, they do, and that is something you 'conservative elites' at the Georgetown cocktail circuit had better realize and take seriously. They do speak for me, because they are passionate about conservatism, conservative values, and know how to articulate that message in ways you could only hope to do. So, get with the program, or get out of the way, because contrary to your own belief, you are not doing conservatism any favors in this struggle.

Conservative Third Party, that's what we need and that's what I'm working toward helping create. Made up of conservatives and moderates from both sides of the floor. I've listened to the left whine for eight years about Bush and now I'm listening to the right whine about Obama. Give the Dems credit. They engineered a takeover of the government and now they're in power. Most "conservatives" I know are all sauce and no substance. I'm tired of all their preaching to the choir. They need to be left behind in favor of a true American Conservative movement, along with all the rest of the KoolAid drinkers, the opportunists and the DC cocktail party crowd Republicans. Those days are over. America is at stake and both parties have turned out to be worthless. Time for real change.

I agree with you, Gregor.
